Getting Started in Ark Re:Code

Ark Re:Code is a turn-based strategy RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world where players command a team of four characters. The game features various modes, including Abyss, PVP, Spirit Altars, Hunts, and Guilds, each offering unique challenges and rewards. New players are advised to follow the in-game tutorial to grasp the basics and unlock additional features as they progress.

Understanding the Gacha System and Rerolling

The game employs a gacha system for character acquisition, with characters categorized into 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star tiers. 5-star characters possess superior skills and are highly sought after. The base rate for obtaining a 5-star character is 1%. Players aiming for top-tier characters may consider rerolling, which involves:

  • Starting the game as a guest user.
  • Completing the tutorial.
  • Using available resources to perform character summons.
  • If unsatisfied with the results, deleting and reinstalling the game to repeat the process.

Forming an Effective Team Composition

Building a balanced team is crucial for success. A recommended team setup includes:

  • Slot 1 (Tank/Healer): Moira, Euphemia, Rafael, Galornia, or Clone Bartholo.
  • Slot 2 (Debuffer/Support): Tracy.
  • Slot 3 (DPS): Silbal or Hestia.
  • Slot 4 (Flexible Role): Options include Silbal, Patea, Dorin, or Tracy. Dildri is less recommended.

Utilizing Welcome Packages

New players can benefit from welcome gift packs available after clearing levels 1 to 4. These packs may contain high-star characters, crystals, life sets, and other valuable resources. It's advisable to collect and utilize these packages to strengthen your team early in the game.

Redeeming Gift Codes

Players can redeem gift codes for various in-game rewards. To do so:

  • Tap on your avatar in the top-left corner of the game screen.
  • Access the settings menu by clicking the gear icon.
  • Select the 'Account' option.
  • Choose 'Redeem Code' and enter a valid code.
  • Confirm to receive your rewards via in-game mail.

Note that codes are case-sensitive and may expire, so prompt redemption is recommended.

Efficient Resource Farming

To enhance your characters and progress effectively, focus on farming essential resources:

  • Star-Up Crystals: Participate in specific game modes and events that offer these as rewards.
  • Gold and Experience: Engage in daily missions and battles to accumulate these resources.
  • Powder: Acquired through dismantling equipment or completing certain quests.

Regular participation in game activities and strategic resource management will facilitate smoother progression.
